Seymour boys basketball was the March team of the month. The Thunder received 5,478 of the 5,816 total votes.
Here are the nominees for April team of the month. Be sure to vote in the poll below.
Appleton North baseball
The Lightning went 8-0 in April, including back-to-back wins over De Pere (11-2) and Hortonville (4-1). North entered May ranked fifth in the state in Division 1 in the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association poll.
Fox Valley Lutheran softball
The Foxes went 10-0 in April, including seven victories by shutout. They are ranked No. 1 in the state in Division 2 in the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association/MaxPreps poll.
Hortonville baseball
The Polar Bears went 12-1 in April, including four victories by shutout. They started May ranked second in the state in Division 1 in the WBCA poll.
Hortonville softball
The Polar Bears went 11-0 in April and won three games by shutout. They are ranked No. 4 in the state in Division 1 in the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association/MaxPreps poll.
Kimberly baseball
The Papermakers went 8-1 in April, including shutout wins over Oshkosh North, Appleton East, Seymour and Appleton West. They started May ranked third in the state in Division 1 in the WBCA poll.
Kimberly girls soccer
The Papermakers went 7-0 in April, including posting six shutout victories. They entered May ranked seventh in the state in Division 1.
Seymour softball
The Thunder went 9-2 in April and won its final seven games in the month to improve to 11-2 overall. The only losses were 3-2 to Southern Door and 2-0 to Fox Valley Lutheran for Seymour, which is ranked sixth in the state in Division 2.
Xavier girls soccer
The Hawks went 7-0 in April with six shutouts in seven games, including 1-0 victories over Ashwaubenon and West De Pere and a 6-0 win over rival Fox Valley Lutheran. They entered May ranked second in the state in Division 4.
