Florida State has a new tight end target in the 2028 recruiting class. Their eyes are set on three-star prospect Troy Silberzahn out of Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, Florida, who announced his offer from FSU on Friday.
“#AGTG Blessed to receive an offer from the Florida State University ! ,” he said on social media.
Rivals’ industry rankings have Silberzahn listed as the No. 657 player nationally and the No. 29 tight end. The 6-foot-5, 215-pounder is also the No. 90 prospect in the state of Florida.
Silberzahn is coming off a season in which he caught 14 passes for 141 yards and one touchdown in nine games. He also took snaps at the quarterback position.
Some of the other schools that have extended offers to Silberzahn are Indiana, Miami, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and UConn.
