Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are back in action on Thursday night in the second of three preseason contests. Clark and the Fever meet Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings at 6 p.m. CT from inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Fever opened its preseason with a 109-91 victory at the New York Liberty. Clark scored seven points, added four assists, and pulled down three rebounds, but Clark was just 2-of-10 shooting and just 1-of-5 from beyond the arc.

At the end of three quarters, Dallas leads by 12 points, with both teams playing a majority of their depth players moving forward.
Clark currently leads the team in scoring with 21 points on 4-for-6 shooting, 2-for-3 from distance, and 11-for-13 at the free-throw stripe, to pair with four assists, two rebounds, and one steal in her 16 minutes of action.

After review for a potential flagrant foul, Clark was fouled on a three-point attempt with a Wings defender falling in her landing space.
She will shoot three flagrant free throws, and the Fever will get possession after.

At halftime, Dallas leads by 15 points behind 22-for-35 shooting, 7-for-15 from 3-point land, and 10-for-12 from the free-throw line as a team. Paige Bueckers has been electric as she has a game-leading 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting.
As for Indiana, the Fever are shooting 13-for-29 from the floor, 2-for-8 from 3-point land, and 18-for-25 from the free-throw line as a team. However, they have forced 12 turnovers, including seven steals and one block. Rven Johnson has been active on the defensive ends with four steals already.

Indiana closes the first quarter with a four-point advantage as Clark’s 14 points on 4-for-5 shooting, 2-for-3 from distance, and 4-for-4 at the free-throw stripe lead the team in scoring. Clark also has two assists and one steal in her seven minutes of action.
It’s safe to say that Caitlin Clark is officially back and performing at peak form.
