Pixie Woods will be celebrating opening day on Saturday.
The park will open for the 2026 season opening day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, at the Pixie Woods Children’s Park at 3121 Monte Diablo in Stockton. This is the beginning of the season as the park only opens for six months a year from May to October.
According to Visit Stockton, opening day activities will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., but the park will remain open until 4 p.m.
Pixie Woods is closed from November through April. In May, the park will only be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekends.
Pixie Woods opened in 1954, with over 1 million visitors from across the US having visited the park, Stockton city officials said.

Tickets to Pixie Woods
General admission tickets for Pixie Woods start at $5 during the weekdays for anyone 2 years old and over, and free for children under two years old. General admission is $6 on the weekends for anyone two years old or over.
Tickets for the Kiddie rides like the Pixie Express, carousel, or the Pixie Queen are $2 for 1 ticket per ride, $5 for a 3 ride package or $9 for unlimited rides for one person.
