BASEBALL

Bay Port 5, Middleton 1

SUAMICO – The Pirates scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning in the nonconference win over the Cardinals.

Tommy Berg and Ethan Orlando each had two hits for Bay Port. Drew LeClaire drove in two runs.

Quinn Boeckman pitched six innings to get the win. He allowed two hits, one run, walked four and struck out seven.

Slinger 8, Pulaski 4

PULASKI – Brayden Zimmerman had three hits and drove in three runs to power the Owls to the victory over the Red Raiders.

Braun Wotruba had three hits, including a double, for Pulaski. Gavin Sikorski added two hits and Eli Heuser drove in two runs.

Slinger 8, Pulaski 3

PULASKI – The Owls scored four runs in the sixth inning to take an 8-2 lead in the victory over the Red Raiders.

Matt Heck was 3-for-3 with a double for Pulaski.

Slinger was led by Kyle Panten, who was 3-for-3 with four RBIs.

Notre Dame 5, Mosinee 2

MOSINEE – The Tritons scored three runs in the top of the fifth inning to take a 4-0 lead and held on for the nonconference win.

Miles Hunter had two hits, including a double, and drove in a run for Notre Dame. Oliver Lindstrom had three hits.

Tyler Siudzinski pitched 5⅔ innings to get the win. He allowed two hits, two runs (one earned), walked four and struck out four.

Mosinee 10, Notre Dame 4

MOSINEE – The Tritons were held to two hits in the loss to Mosinee.

Jacob Reineking and Drew Magnuson had the hits for Notre Dame. Miles Hunter drove in two runs.

Westosha Central 17, Green Bay Southwest 0

GREEN BAY – The Falcons scored eight runs in the first inning in the nonconference victory over the Trojans.

Dominic Quinonez had a double and Isaiah Kaczrouske had a single for Southwest’s only hits.

West De Pere 8, Westosha Central 0

GREEN BAY – The Phantoms scored six runs in the fourth inning and two in the fifth in the nonconference win over the Falcons.

Peshtigo 6, Southern Door 0

BRUSSELS – The Bulldogs scored three runs in the first inning in the victory over the Eagles.

Bryce Heroux pitched five innings for Peshtigo. He allowed five hits, walked one and struck out seven.

Lincoln Nemec and Heroux each had two hits and two RBIs for Peshtigo.

SOFTBALL

De Pere 14, Bay Port 3

SUAMICO – The Redbirds scored 11 runs over the first three innings and finished with 13 hits in the five-inning victory over the Pirates.

Julia Renier was 3-for-3 with two runs scored for De Pere. Bella Robinett had two hits, including a home run, and drove in three runs. Jaelyn Craig had two hits and three RBIs, Payton Spaeth had two hits and Allie Frederiksen had two hits and four RBIs.

Brooke Destache pitched five innings for the win. She allowed six hits, three runs, walked one and struck out one.

De Pere 6, Bay Port 4

SUAMICO – Jaelyn Craig and Morgan Blum each had two hits for the Redbirds in the victory over the Pirates.

Emma Baugnet added a solo home run and Bella Robinett drove in two runs for De Pere.

Green Bay Preble 16, D.C. Everest 7

SCHOFIELD – The Hornets trailed 7-0 after two innings but stormed back to beat the Evergreens in the nonconference game.

Preble scored three runs in the fourth, and four runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings.

Izzy Neerdaels had two hits and four RBIs for Preble. Tenley Kuehn had three hits and three RBIs. Hannah Von Haden had two hits and two RBIs. Gracie Day had three hits, incuding two doubles, and drove in two runs. Maya Darmawan had four hits and an RBI.

Kuehn pitched 5⅓ innings for the win. She allowed four hits, no runs, walked one and struck out five.

Green Bay Preble 6, Chippewa Falls 2

SCHOFIELD – The Hornets scored four runs in the third inning to take a 5-0 lead in the victory over the Cardinals.

Maya Darmawan had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for Preble. Ayla Rozz also had two hits.

Tenley Kuehn pitched a complete game. She allowed two hits, two unearned runs, walked two and struck out 12.

TRACK AND FIELD

Pulaski Elite Invitational

BOYS

FREEDOM 120, PULASKI 120, APPLETON EAST 106, COLEMAN 90, SHAWANO COMMUNITY 76, OCONTO FALLS 68, DENMARK 66, MENASHA 47

Hunter Dehart of Coleman placed first in the shot put with a toss of 61-10 and first in the discus with a throw of 174-6.

Brady Bursa of Oconto Falls won the long jump with a leap of 21-3.75 and the triple jump with a leap of 41-2.25.

Freedom’s only individual win was by Nolan Phillips in the high jump with a leap of 6-0.

GIRLS

PULASKI 169, FREEDOM 145, OCONTO FALLS 108, DENMARK 103, COLEMAN 58, SHAWANO COMMUNITY 53, MENASHA 28

Maggie Gerth of Pulaski was a double winner, taking first in the 1,600-meter run in 5:15.34 and the 3,200 in 11:24.49.

Noelle Manning of Pulaski won the shot put with a toss of 34-11.75 and the discus with a throw of 114-7.

GIRLS SOCCER

St. Mary Catholic 2, Sturgeon Bay 2

FOX CROSSING – Morgan Porsche and Brecken Britzke scored goals for the Zephyrs in the tie against the Clippers.

Sturgeon Bay’s goals were scored by Yarrow Goettelman and Jericha Reynolds.
