Bengals draft Texas TE Jack Endries in 7th round of 2026 NFL Draft

A half dozen Longhorns have now been taken in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Texas tight end Jack Endries with the 221st overall pick in the 7th round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

The former Cal transfer will now be a key part of the Cincy offensive line tasked with protecting quarterback Joe Burrow. The 6-foot-4 TE is a big target who averaged more than 11 yards per catch over three college seasons, scoring seven times on 124 receptions, 1,376 yards and 7 touchdown. At UT, he had 33 receptions for 346 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Endries started all 39 games over the past three seasons, proving durability and dependability to potential NFL teams. The California native said he was thankful to the Texas coaching staff.

“Just the coaching is at the highest-tier possible,” Endries said to ESPN. “We’re a relentless team. The training and coaching is what sets us apart. I thought I became a lot better at blocking and a much better receiver. When you come here, you come here to improve. And that’s what happened.”
