Reggie Virgil becomes the sixth Red Raider drafted

The first Red Raider on Day 3 is officially off the board in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Arizona Cardinals selected wide receiver Reggie Virgil with the No. 143 overall selection. Virgil joins fellow drafted Cardinals Jeremiyah Love, Chase Bisontis, Carson Beck, and Kalem Proctor.

This selection will team up Virgil with Marvin Harrison Jr, Kendrick Bourne, Michael Wilson, and Devin Duvernay. Virgil joined the Red Raiders ahead of the 2025 season after three years with Miami of Ohio. He wasn’t as productive in his lone season with Tech as his junior season with the RedHawks, but he didn’t need to be. Virgil was effective as the No. 2 option behind Caleb Douglas.
