2026 NFL draft: New York Giants' remaining picks after Day 2

The New York Giants continued building their roster on Day 2 of the 2026 NFL draft in Pittsburgh.

After selecting Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese at No. 5 overall and Miami offensive lineman Francisco Mauigoa at No. 10 overall on Thursday night, the Giants addressed their secondary Friday by taking Tennessee cornerback Colton Hood with the No. 37 overall pick in the second round.

The Giants then traded back up into Round 3, sending a trio of picks to the Cleveland Browns — No. 105 overall, No. 145 overall, and a fourth-round pick in 2027 — in exchange for No. 74 overall, which they used to select Notre Dame wide receiver Malachi Fields.

With those four selections now logged away in the history books, the Giants have three picks remaining as they head into Day 3 on Saturday. Their current selections are:

New York lacked a third-round pick and were also without a seventh-round pick.

With Reese, Mauigoa, Hood, and Fields added, general manager Joe Schoen can now use the remaining selections to target depth at interior defensive line or other areas of need to support head coach John Harbaugh’s rebuild.
