ORCHARD PARK – Thanks to the flurry of pick swap trades the Buffalo Bills executed Thursday night, they have set themselves up for a far more interesting second day of the NFL Draft.
Before Brandon Beane began flipping picks the way the cooks flip pancakes at iHop, the Bills had the No. 26 in the first round, and No. 91 in the third round. That’s it, because Beane had sent his second-round pick to the Bears in the DJ Moore.
Now, by getting out of that 26th pick and moving around the board, he will start Friday’s second round with the third pick at No. 35, and he will get to select someone much higher in the third round as he improved from 91 to No. 66.
Based on the various trade value charts, Thursday was a good night for the Bills. Of course, now comes the most important part – picking the right players who can immediately help the Bills as rookies in 2026.
