Coffeehouse in town of Scott closes after two months | Streetwise

After only two months in business, the il Bar Coffeehouse & Bistro has closed.

It opened Feb. 28 at Bay House Landing, 3597 Bay Settlement Road, in Scott, but has permanently closed, according to a Facebook post from April 20.

“With a heavy heart, we want to share that il Bar Coffeehouse & Bistro will be closing its operations inside Bay House Landing in Green Bay,” the post read.

According to the post, the decision was made due to “personal and overall business sustainability reasons.”

On April 24, in a news release, management said owners had been focusing on family priorities and its other locations in Appleton and Kimberly.

“As a result, we have not been able to maintain the level of day-to-day presence and operational consistency required at this location.”

Bay House Landing remains open and continues to offer space for private events and gatherings, the release said.
