Looking to celebrate 4/20 this year? While marijuana remains illegal in Texas, El Pasoans can legally purchase cannabis just across the state line in New Mexico.
Since 4/20 falls on a Monday, several dispensaries near El Paso are hosting celebrations and offering discounts, bundle deals and promotions throughout the weekend leading up to the holiday.
As always, cannabis purchased in New Mexico cannot be brought back into Texas.

Hi Life Dispensary in Santa Teresa, New Mexico
Hi‑Life Dispensary will host a 4/20 celebration on Saturday, April 18, featuring free food, live music and multiple raffles, including giveaways from participating cannabis brands.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will include on‑site appearances from several cannabis companies, including Hash Bros., Frost Factory and Pressure NM.
In addition to the celebration, Hi‑Life will offer select 4/20 product deals throughout the day. Customers are encouraged to check the dispensary or its Weedmaps listing for specific promotions and restrictions.

Dark Matter in Sunland Park, New Mexico
Dark Matter will host a 4/20 celebration party on Saturday, featuring live music, food trucks and local vendors.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include food trucks such as Track One, known locally for its wings, as well as cannabis brands and local vendors on-site throughout the celebration.
Customers should check their website or visit the dispensary for exact deal details, as offers may change quickly around April 20.

Mango Cannabis in Sunland Park, New Mexico
Mango Cannabis will host a 4/20 event on Monday, featuring giveaways, food trucks, live music and on-site vendors throughout the celebration.
In addition to the Monday event, Mango Cannabis will give away free bags filled with products to customers who spend $75 before taxes. The giveaway will be available throughout the weekend and on Monday, while supplies last.
