Seasons Road in Streetsboro is closed due to a culvert collapse between Ferguson and Ravenna roads, Mayor Glenn Broska announced April 3 in a Facebook post.

The Portage County Engineer’s Office said the road will be closed “until further notice.” The westbound detour is Ferguson to Ravenna Road to Seasons and vice versa.

Broska said in his post that when traveling west from Ferguson, Seasons is open to local traffic until the last house on the left before the railroad tracks, which are just west of Tinkers Creek.

“There was a catastrophic failure of the culvert underneath the road, it’s about 25-30 feet deep,” wrote Broska.

“Part of the road has also collapsed. It is a very dangerous situation as it could collapse the road completely. This particular culvert was already on the Portage County Engineers radar to be replaced.”

Broska said it can take 60 to 90 days to complete a project of this size.
