River City Soul Fest is returning to the Peoria riverfront in August.
Grammy nominee Jon B. and iHeart Radio Music Awards nominee Jacquees will headline R&B Night on Saturday, Aug. 8.
Jon B., a singer and songwriter is known for hits “They Don’t Know” and “Are U Still Down” featuring Tupac Shakur. Jacquees has an array of R&B jams, including “B.E.D.” and “You.”
R&B Fest tickets are available for $35 in advance and $45 the day of the show. Limited quantities of VIP tickets are available for $80 and must be purchased in advance. Peoria’s celebration of soul and rhythm and blues was established in 1999.
Gospel Night is part of the same weekend and will feature Lisa Knowles-Smith and The Brown Singers on Friday, Aug. 7.
Tickets for Gospel Fest are currently available for $20 in advance or for $25 on the day of the show and can be purchased online or in-person at the Noble Center at 1125 W. Lake Ave., Peoria. Two-day passes are available for $42 and must be purchased in advance. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show will begin at 6:30 p.m.
