The long-awaited Filipino fast-food restaurant Jollibee will be opening in Stockton soon.
The chain recently announced the opening date of its new location on social media. Jollibee will open from 9 a.m. to midnight on Friday, April 3, at Weberstown Mall, 4950 Pacific Ave. The new restaurant will open at the former location of Grand Buffet.
The chain previously had a Jollibee location at 7840 West Lane, Ste. D-1, but it closed in 2018.
“We know Jollibee fans in Stockton have been eagerly waiting for this opening, and we’re excited to finally welcome the community back. Using a phased approach, the store will be offering drive-thru, to-go take-out services, with in-store dining anticipated to begin approximately one week later,” a Jollibee spokesperson told The Record on Friday. “To celebrate our grand opening, the day will be filled with all the fanfare and excitement that a Jollibee store opening brings, including freebies, exclusive merchandise, lots of joy, and special promotional items for the first 50 customers in the drive-thru and take-out lines each day for the first three days!”
Jollibee’s new location was built from the ground up and was expected to open in Stockton in 2025, brand representatives told The Record previously. However, the restaurant’s doors never opened, leaving Stocktonians and fried chicken fans anxiously waiting.
First three days giveaways
Jollibee will be having a few giveaways over the first three days of its opening.
On April 3, the first 50 drive-thru customers and the first 50 to-go customers will receive “free one year” of a year’s supply of Jollibee Chickenjoy as well as limited-edition Jollibee SF shirts.
On April 4, the first 50 drive-thru customers and first 50 to-go customers will receive free bucket hats and journals.
On April 5, the first 50 drive-thru and first 50 to-go customers will receive free Jollibee decorative lights.
The new location is still hiring for both part-time restaurant supervisor and part-time store crew. To learn more about these open positions, visit harri.com/jbstockton.
What’s on the menu?
Jollibee’s menu includes everything from burgers, spaghetti, fried chicken, chicken sandwiches and Pancit Palabok or “Palabok Fiesta” at Jollibee’s.
Limited time menu offers include a “Bacon Angus Deluxe Burger” or an “Ultimate Bacon Angus Cheeseburger.” The menu items can be ordered as a combo.
Specialty drinks range from a guava freeze, lychee iced tea, to a dragonfruit sunset quencher. For those with a sweet tooth, order a peach mango pie or an ube pie.
“Jollibee is incredibly excited to serve the vibrant community of Stockton once again. Our Jollibee community is something we deeply pride ourselves on – as seen during our store openings, the lines speak for themselves. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and it’s been amazing to see communities come together because of our food,” a Jollibee spokesperson said. “We will continue to nurture this welcoming environment in every store, creating a space where families and friends can gather, embrace the joy of eating delicious food, and create lasting memories. We want Jollibee to be more than just a restaurant in Stockton; we want to cultivate a sense of belonging for all members of the community.”
