Can they find that magic again in 2026?

The Brewers are coming off a season in which they captivated the city and fanbase when they advanced to the National League Championship Series, won a third straight NL Central Division title, set a franchise record in season victories and had its longest winning streak during a summer to remember.

Many familiar faces return, including the likes of veterans like Christian Yelich, Brandon Woodruff and William Contreras, rising stars like Jackson Chourio, Brice Turang and the season-opening starter Jacob Misiorowski, to go with two-time Manager of the Year Pat Murphy back in charge.

The Brewers kick off their 2026 season at home on Thursday, March 26, for opening day against the Chicago White Sox.

The new season also brings about a new way to watch the Brewers with a new channel and streaming option.

Here’s how to watch the Brewers on opening day, including on TV, live stream and the schedule.

Brewers game on TV: Where to watch the Brewers on Opening Day

Fan Duel Sports is no longer the home of Brewers TV. With MLB distributing Brewers games now, there’s a new way to access games on TV.

The Brewers just announced Thursday morning the channel information for cable and satellite TV services.

The club said channels include 1263 on XFinity, 670 on DirecTV, 1743 on U-Verse, and 319 or 469 on Spectrum. The broadcasts are also listed as available on streaming service Fubo.

The Brewers are pointing fans to a channel-finding tool on their web site at Brewers.com/watch, though in the moments after the announcement, the channel finder was not yet locating details for Spectrum customers for Milwaukee-area zip codes. A club spokesperson said Major League Baseball was aware of the error and the games would indeed air on Spectrum in Milwaukee.

The built-in Spectrum guide still showed Channel 308 as the “BREW” offering in Milwaukee, with Brewers Live Pregame scheduled to begin at noon CT and baseball at 1 p.m. March 26.

Opening Day will also air for free on Fox (Channel 6) in Milwaukee and other channels around Wisconsin as one of 10 games this season on over-the-air TV.

Brewers vs White Sox probable pitchers

Brewers right-handed pitcher Jacob Misiorowski, who set the baseball world by storm last season on his way to an All-Star Game appearance after only five career starts, gets the ball on opening day.

In 15 games, the 23-year-old Misiorowski posted a 5-3 record with a 4.36 ERA and 1.24 WHIP.

For the White Sox, it’s right-handed Shane Smith, a player whom the Brewers actually selected in the 2021 MLB Draft. The 25-year-old started 29 games last season and posted a 7-8 record with a 3.81 ERA and 1.20 WHIP.

Brewers schedule

After Thursday’s opener, there is a day off on Friday, March 27, before the three-game series resumes on Saturday, March 28. The Brewers remain at home for another three-game set in their second series of the season against the Tampa Bay Rays.
