Tiger Woods makes 2026 TGL debut, how did he do in finals?

PALM BEACH GARDENS — Tiger Woods made his return to competitive golf for Game 2 of the TGL Finals on Tuesday, March 24 at the SoFi Center.

Los Angeles Golf Club defeated Jupiter Links Golf Club 9-2 to clinch the SoFi Cup on the first hole of singles play. It’s the first SoFi Cup for Los Angeles Golf Club.

Woods, 50, hit nine total shots in his debut performance of TGL’s second season.

His first shot of the TGL season was a 25-foot birdie putt to win the hole. He left it short and Jupiter Links settled for par and a tied hole.

Woods’ first full shot was an approach on hole No. 2 with a three wood from an estimated 271 yards. He needed at least 260 yards to carry some danger and did just that, landing on the fringe for a short Jupiter Links chip. Jupiter ultimately won the hole for the first point of the night.

Tiger Woods’ tee shot on “Stinger” was a good one. His driver had a 3-degree launch angle and went 312 yards square in the fairway.

His worst shot of the night came on hole No. 7, however. He missed a three-foot par putt that handed LAGC its first lead. It was a key part of a nine-point run by LAGC to overturn a 2-0 deficit and seal the SoFi Cup title.
