There isn’t a coin small enough to match the decrease, from $3.951 March 19 to $3.950 on Friday, March 20.
So the average price of gas in Florida remains just below $4 a gallon but still above the average price in the United States, which was $3.912 Friday.

When will gas prices go down? Increase ‘won’t last forever’
Vice President JD Vance told Fox Business, “We know high gas prices are a problem.”
He said the Trump administration is working to lower gas prices and repeated what President Trump has said previously, that the increase “will not last forever.”
“Gas prices are up, and we know they’re up,” Vance said.
“We know that people are hurting because of it, and we’re doing everything that we can to ensure that they stay lower.”
Prices have steadily risen since U.S. and Israeli attacks against Iran began Feb. 28.
