Race 5 of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season is complete at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
And Denny Hamlin has punched another hole in the record book. He’s now 10th all time in Cup Series wins. He got out front late and held off Chase Elliott to win Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 at Vegas.
He now has 61 career wins, breaking a tie for 10th with Kevin Harvick.
Next weekend, NASCAR returns to its deep roots at Darlington Raceway for a 400-miler on the historic egg-shaped oval.
The next week brings another museum piece: Martinsville, followed by a week off for Easter.
