Florida State extends offer to 2029 quarterback prospect

The FSU Seminoles aren’t wasting any time when it comes to the 2029 recruiting cycle. They have extended a scholarship offer to quarterback Ty Snell out of Allen, Texas. He announced it on social media.

“#AGTG after a great conversation with @ThomsenChris I am extremely blessed to receive an offer to @FSUFootball,” Snell wrote.

Despite only being a freshman, Snell has received nearly 20 offers, and some high-profile schools are in the mix. Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Mississippi State, SMU, and others have also extended offers to him.

Tennessee had Snell on campus for an unofficial visit and a camp last year. Ohio State, Texas A&M, SMU, Texas Tech, Mississippi State, Memphis, and Vanderbilt have all had him on their campuses as well. Florida State needs to add its name to that list soon.

Snell played in 11 games last season. He produced 1,030 yards and 10 touchdowns to only three interceptions while completing 68.4% of his passes. He also added 161 yards on the ground and scored twice.

No major recruiting site has a ranking on Snell.
