In January, longtime, popular PBS series “Antiques Roadshow” announced it was heading back on the road in 2026 and that its itinerary included a June 17 stop in Mumford, a hamlet in the town of Wheatland.
On Feb. 25, show representatives revealed exactly where: Genesee Country Village & Museum, about 20 miles southwest of Rochester at 1410 Flint Hill Road.
The program will host a full day of appraisals at the living history museum as part of the series’ 31st production tour.
At “Antiques Roadshow” appraisal events, the country’s leading auction houses and independent dealers give ticketed guests free verbal evaluations of their antiques, art and collectibles.
How to get free tickets
Tickets, which entitle holders to two appraisals each, are free but must be obtained in advance by entering a sweepstakes.
Between now and 11:59 p.m. April 6, go to pbs.org/wgbh/roadshowtickets for a chance to win one pair of tickets per household.
The contest is limited to people 18 and older. The tickets have no cash value and may not be sold or transferred.
‘Antiques Roadshow’ on the road
“Antiques Roadshow” will be visiting Tucson, Arizona, and Indianapolis, Indiana, this year, too, and three one-hour episodes will be created from each 2026 event. The shows will air on PBS in 2027.
WXXI Television broadcasts the program 8 p.m. Mondays.
Spread over 600 acres, Genesee Country Village & Museum was founded in 1966 to preserve the architecture of the Genesee Valley in a recreated historic village and tell the history of New York state and 19th-century American life.
