The Buffalo Bills see a weapon for quarterback Josh Allen join their roster in an early 2026 NFL draft mock from NFL.com.
A name becoming a popular projection for the Bills with the No. 26 overall selection is Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston. He’s a prospect that makes sense.

The thing missing from the Bills offense last season was a top tier X-receiver that can extend the field for Allen and the passing attack. At 6-foot-4, Boston has speed to match his size. That’s the prototype makeup for that type of playmaker.
Boston has had back-to-back productive seasons for Washington with more than 60 catches and 800 yards in both. In 2025, Boston had 62 catches, 881 yards and 11 touchdowns.
NFL.com’s breakdown on Boston to the Bills can be found below:
Josh Allen needs better weaponry in the passing game. The Bills haven’t spent a first-round pick on a wide receiver since they drafted Sammy Watkins fourth overall in 2014. They did take Keon Coleman at the top of Round 2 a couple years ago, but that selection hasn’t worked out as planned. (Just ask the owner.) If the team’s still looking for a big-bodied ball winner, Boston could be a nice value at No. 26.
