The CIF Sac-Joaquin Section girls basketball playoffs are revving up. Fourteen county programs are in this year’s race.
The first round tips off Tuesday, Feb. 17, with quarterfinals set for Feb. 19. Semifinals follow Feb. 24, and the championship games will be played Feb. 27 and Feb. 28 at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.
Before they hit the gas, here’s where each team finished in league play.
San Joaquin Athletic Association: Bear Creek (first), Edison (third).
Tri-City Atlantic League: St. Mary’s (first), Lodi (second), Lincoln (third).
Valley Oak League: East Union (first), Sierra (third), Oakdale (fifth).
Trans Valley League: Escalon (first), Ripon (fourth).
Sierra Valley Conference: Liberty Ranch (first).
Central California Athletic Alliance League: Millennium (first), Venture Academy (first).
Mountain Valley League: Lodi Academy (first).
