A popular fast-food sauce is coming to grocery stores for the first time ever.
But act quickly – it will only be there for a limited time.
Long John Silver’s, a fast-food seafood chain, will sell bottles of its tartar sauce in select grocery stores starting in February, the company announced in a release this week. The launch comes ahead of Lent, which begins this year on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
“Known for its creamy texture and signature flavor, Long John Silver’s Tartar Sauce has long been a fan favorite,” the release reads.
The tartar sauce, which is one of the most-requested items on the menu, will be available at select locations within the Kroger Co. Family of Stores. You can find your nearest Kroger store at kroger.com/stores/search.
The bottles will be available while supplies last. Pricing will be set by retail stores and vary by location, the release reads.
