Prediction and betting odds for Lakers vs. Warriors

The Los Angeles Lakers host the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet.

After winning seven of their last 10 games, including a 119-115 victory on Thursday over the Philadelphia 76ers, the Lakers (31-19) will look to create more momentum against a short-handed Warriors (28-24) squad. Golden State is without Jimmy Butler, who tore his ACL last month, and Stephen Curry, who is dealing with a knee ailment. Meanwhile, Luka Doncic will sit for Los Angeles after hurting his hamstring during Thursday’s game.

Lakers vs Warriors injury reports

Warriors: Brandin Podziemski (general illness) is probable. Jimmy Butler III (right ACL tear), LJ Cryer (left hamstring injury management), Seth Curry (left sciatic nerve irritation), Stephen Curry (right patellofemoral pain syndrome) and Kristaps Porzingis (left Achilles tendon injury management) are out.

Lakers: Luke Kennard (trade pending) is questionable. Luka Doncic (left hamstring strain) and Adou Thiero (right MCL sprain) are out.

Advice and Prediction:

Usually, when the Lakers and Warriors face off against each other, it is a star-studded affair that is often decided in the final minutes. But with three future Hall of Famers unable to play, this matchup will lack the usual luster of a Lakers-Warriors meeting.

The Warriors will be without their two best players, while the Lakers will only be without their best player, which gives the Lakers an advantage. Still, Los Angeles cannot underestimate the Warriors, who are still well-coached and full of viable role players and complementary players.

Draymond Green is a player who still makes a sizable impact on the basketball court, and he remains Golden State’s Swiss Army knife and emotional leader. Golden State is also first in 3-point attempts and makes, so L.A.’s defensive rotations need to be sharp and timely.

As long as the Lakers are focused, and as long as LeBron James plays up to his standards, they should come away with a victory on Saturday.

Prediction: Lakers 117, Warriors 110
