The body of a man believed to be in his 20s was found Friday morning in a vacant lot in Rochester, according to police.
Officers were called to Siebert Place, off North Clinton Avenue, around 10:20 a.m. after a deceased man was reported in the area, said Capt. Greg Bello of the Rochester Police Department. Police located the man’s body in a vacant lot.
“At this point in the investigation, his death does not appear to be criminal in nature,” Bello said.
The body was taken to the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office, where the man’s identity and cause of death will be determined.
Siebert Place is a short residential street off North Clinton Avenue near Don Samuel Torres Park, just north of Upper Falls Boulevard.
