Elder care, nursing home abuse specialist joins Morgan & Morgan

Morgan & Morgan, America’s largest injury law firm, announced today that Scott Fischer has joined the firm as a partner based in the West Palm Beach office, with several members of his team also joining the firm. In his new role, Fischer will continue his focus on nursing home and elder abuse litigation, further expanding the firm’s advocacy in this practice area throughout Florida. Lewis, Longman & Walker elects attorney to position of firm shareholder

Lewis, Longman & Walker, P.A. recently announced the election of Telsula C. Morgan as a shareholder of the firm, recognizing her leadership, legal excellence, and contributions to clients, colleagues, and the broader community. A member of the firm since 2015, Morgan serves as vice-chair of the firm’s Native American Law Practice Group. Her practice spans environmental, land use, natural resources, and tribal law, advising clients on complex regulatory and governance matters.

Resource Depot names governing board of directors, advisory board members

Resource Depot’s newest appointments to its governing board of directors include: president Eva Greene, a Florida native and digital marketing executive at RSM; vice president Brian Elkins, the vice president of events and community engagement at the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, he oversees events including the Loggerhead Triathlon and ArtFest by the Sea; treasurer Rachael Page, managing director in the private client services practice at Andersen; secretary Billi Jo Huddleston, manager of environmental assessments, remediation and waste team for Florida Power & Light Environmental Services; Lisa LaFrance, a champion for innovation in the nonprofit sector, advancing collaboration, transparency, and change; Jessica Lenhart, director of sustainability at USPA Global, where she oversees sustainability initiatives for the global U.S. Polo Assn. brand; and Stewart Auville, head ringmaster for Standing Ovations, South Florida’s premier event production and management company. The group’s new advisory board members are Cathryn Sprague, education & outreach supervisor for Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County; Megan Houston, division director at Built Environment Risk Reduction; and Denise Johnson-Hopkins, district leader at Primerica. Sotheby’s International Realty names head of local brokerages

Sotheby’s International Realty recently announced that real estate leader John Hackett will assume the role of vice president and brokerage manager of the company’s Florida-based brokerages on Palm Beach and Singer Island, as well as the Wellington Brokerage of Equestrian Sotheby’s International Realty. In this new role, Hackett will support more than 130 global real estate advisors affiliated with Sotheby’s International Realty in Palm Beach County that generated more than $1 billion in sales volume last year.

Township Capital promotes finance director to COO

Township Capital, the Palm Beach-based innovative private equity real estate firm, recently announced that Jonathan Sparacio has been promoted from director of finance to chief operating officer. Sparacio will oversee Township’s financial strategy, capital planning, and operational infrastructure as Township Capital continues to scale its platform and expand its investment footprint. Sparacio has been an integral part of Township Capital’s leadership team since he joined in 2024.

Slate Aviation names airline industry vet COO

Slate Aviation has announced that Quentin Koch has joined the company as chief operating officer, reporting directly to the board of directors.
