Race fans, strap in for 24 Hours of Daytona, or as it’s formally known, the 2026 Rolex 24 at Daytona. However you want to call it, there’s 24 straight hours of auto racing ahead at Daytona International Speedway.
Before the Daytona 500 begins the NASCAR season as the “Super Bowl of Racing,” the IMSA schedule kicks off on Daytona’s road course, meaning yes, there will be right turns. The Rolex 24 will see 60 teams rotate drivers from Saturday to Sunday afternoon to compete for the prize, which of course includes a brand new Rolex watch.
Felipe Nasr is out for his third straight Rolex 24 win after he led the No. 7 Penske Porsche just ahead of Tom Blomqvist’s Meyer Shank Racing Acura for the second year in a row. The No. 93 Meyer Shank Acura team will start on the pole today. It’s a long road ahead after that.
