“Monday Night Football” fans might be a little disappointed when they try to tune in tonight, as the Week 18 schedule officially brought the 2025 NFL regular season to a close Sunday.
However, the primetime NFL slot will return next week when the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers face off in the wild-card round.

Is there a ‘Monday Night Football’ game tonight?
Unfortunately, no. The NFL does not have a “Monday Night Football” game scheduled for Week 18 on Jan. 5, as the regular season is officially over.
When is the next NFL game?
Luckily, NFL fans won’t have to wait too long for football to grace their screens. The next NFL games are slated for Saturday, Jan. 10, when the Los Angeles Rams and Carolina Panthers kick off the NFL wild-card round.
The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears also face off Jan. 10.
When is the next ‘Monday Night Football’ game?
There will be a “MNF” game between the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round of the playoffs Jan. 12.

Meanwhile, the first “Monday Night Football” game of the 2026 regular season will be Sept. 14, 2026.
