It’s 4:30 p.m. Almost time to leave work and head for home. One problem. Nothing is planned for dinner. A fast food chain is not an option since you’ve already done that twice this week.
What’s the next best option? Well, of course, a delicious rotisserie chicken.
I know at my Publix in Gateway (Fort Myers) the rotisserie chicken’s are flying off the shelf from about 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sometimes there’s a line of people waiting for the next batch to come out of the oven.
It’s likely the same story at places like Target, Walmart and Whole Foods.
You could say it’s Rotisserie Rush Hour.
The rotisserie chicken is definitely a crowd pleaser and the solution to most “I don’t know what to make for dinner” quandaries many of us find ourselves in on those days when we just don’t want to cook.
