Comment: The 5-foot-8 junior helped the Seraphs stretch their winning streak to eight games while extending a streak of her own. Fernandez has surpassed 20 points in eight straight games as St. Bonaventure reached 8-1 on the season after losing its season opener. Last Tuesday, she finished with 28 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 57-45 win over St. Bonaventure. On Friday, Fernandez had 23 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals in an 82-32 win over Ridgeview at the Oxnard Winter Tournament. She is averaging 23.7 points per game while shooting 57% from the field.

Comment: The 6-foot senior helped the Highlanders win three games last week to improve to 8-6 on the season. On Tuesday, Albert had 22 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 58-37 win over Fillmore. On Saturday, he scored 26 points in a 51-44 win over Cabrillo and finished with 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 78-53 victory over Selma at the Atascadero Tournament.
