We asked Binghamton-area residents what their favorite Thanksgiving pie was, and the winner was clear.
When it comes to Thanksgiving, the holiday is usually spent feasting on all the staple foods — turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. But you always save room for dessert at the end, and that dessert is almost always pie.
We received 72 votes in our 2025 Thanksgiving pie poll, and one favorite came out on top, by a landslide.
What’s Binghamton’s favorite Thanksgiving pie?
Pumpkin pie took the top spot, with 50% of the votes.
Binghamton’s second favorite was apple pie, with 23.61% of the votes. Pecan pie came in third, with 15.28% of the votes.
4.17% of people voted for another kind of pie, but sweet potato and chocolate pie tied, both having 2.78% of the votes.
Cherry pie came next, with 1.38% of the votes.
No one voted for something other than pie, solidifying the need for pie on all Binghamton holiday tables this Thanksgiving.
