Clear Creek Amana volleyball Julia Schlarbaum was voted by readers as the Press-Citizen’s Athlete of the Week for Nov. 3-9.
Schlarbaum earned Athlete of the Week with 56% of the vote.
Schlarbaum turned in a great performance during CCA volleyball’s sweep (25-23, 25-9, 25-21) over Sergeant Bluff-Luton in the 4A state quarterfinals on Nov. 3. The sophomore earned 12 digs, six kills and four assists against the Warriors. She went 6 of 6 when serving the ball.
