Jakobi Meyers’ jersey number with the Jacksonville Jaguars has now been revealed.
According to ESPN’s Michael DiRocco, Meyers will be wearing No. 3. During his time with the Las Vegas Raiders, Meyers wore No. 16, but of course in Jacksonville, that number is being worn by quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
Meyers brings added experience to the Jaguars’ offense and a very reliable presence. He’s caught nearly 70% of his career targets with minimal drops.
He also is able to line up both inside and out and is willing to do some of the dirty work at the receiver position, operating over the middle of the field and on those intermediate routes — all important elements to playing the position in Liam Coen’s offense.
Meyers’ most productive season was just last year. In 2024, he eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his NFL career. He’s surpassed 800 yards three other times.
This addition comes while the Jaguars are navigating some injuries at the receiver position as well.
The 2025 season is the final year of Meyers’ current deal. He is set to be a free agent in 2026.
In order to land Meyers, the Jaguars are sending a fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft to the Raiders.
