The Jacksonville Jaguars are acquiring some wide receiver help prior to Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline.

According to multiple reports, the Jaguars are trading for Raiders’ wide receiver Jakobi Meyers.

In return, the Jaguars are sending a fourth and a sixth-round draft pick to Las Vegas.

This move comes while the Jaguars are navigating injuries at the position. Travis Hunter is currently on injured reserve, and Tim Patrick did not play in Sunday’s game due to an injury.

Jacksonville could also use more consistent playmaking from this position group as well.

Meyers is an experienced player, having appeared in 98 career games with 76 starts between his time with the New England Patriots and the Raiders since entering the NFL in 2019.

He has ample experience lining up both inside and out, which is important in Liam Coen’s offense at that position, and for his career, he’s caught nearly 70% of his targets at 11.5 yards per catch with 20 touchdowns.

His most productive season came just a year ago in 2024, when Meyers totaled 1,027 yards. Between the 2022 and 2023 seasons, he recorded 14 receiving touchdowns.

This season specifically, Meyers has hauled in 33-of-48 passes for 352 yards.
