Police have identified the teenager shot to death in early October in southwest Rochester and are searching for a second teen believed to be responsible for the homicide.
Officers were called to Warwick Avenue, just south of Chili Avenue, around 11 p.m. oOct. 9 after it was reported that someone had been shot in the area. Emergency responders found Aajion Wright, 16, in a driveway, between two houses, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, said Rochester Police Capt. Greg Bello.
The teen was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Bello said.
Homicide detectives identified the shooting suspect as Ke’yon Warren, 16, and are asking for the public’s help in locating the teenager, Bello said. Officers continue to investigate the circumstances of Wright’s shooting death.
Warren is a Black teen who weighs roughly 140 pounds and stands 5 feet, 8 inches tall, according to police.

Warwick Avenue is a residential road in southwest Rochester and runs between Chili Avenue and Arnett Boulevard.
