Godzilla Day: Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Naples is celebrating this legendary monster’s 71st birthday at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3. Sunshine Ace Hardware event: Bonita Springs store will host three-day, family-friendly Holiday Open House at 9100 Bonita Beach Road, 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, and Saturday, Nov. 8; and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9. Veteran’s Day in Estero: Celebrate the holiday with free, patriotic entertainment from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 8, at Estero Community Park, 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd., Estero. Veterans History Museum grand opening: Formerly known as America’s Military and 1st Responders Museum, the Collier County museum opens with a new name and location. The free museum showcases hundreds of artifacts tied to 250 years of America’s wars, including letters, drawings, weapons, uniforms, medals and an original Betsy Ross American flag. Grand opening starts at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, on Veterans Day. Free admission. The event includes a ribbon cutting, speeches and veteran-led tours.
