Wisconsin class of 2026 commit, linebacker Aden Reeder, is taking an official visit to Michigan on Saturday for its home game vs. Purdue, according to 247Sports’ Allen Trieu.
Notably, Michigan, Kentucky and Northwestern recently offered the three-star linebacker. Reeder has been committed to the Badgers since May. He originally chose the program over top contenders Iowa and Michigan State. Now, midway through his senior high school season, several other top programs have joined the mix. Michigan’s heightened pursuit of Reeder notably comes as Wisconsin has lost six straight games, five of which to Big Ten opponents and all by multiple scores.
247Sports currently ranks the linebacker as the No. 559 overall player in the class, the No. 40 linebacker and the No. 27 recruit from his home state of Ohio. Despite his scheduled visit to Ann Arbor, Michigan, the recruiting service has yet to predict him to flip his commitment.
Reeder is currently one of 15 players committed to Wisconsin’s class of 2026. That group currently ranks No. 56 nationally and No. 14 in the Big Ten.
The linebacker is not the only Wisconsin class of 2026 commit receiving significant interest elsewhere; wide receiver Jayden Petit recently took a visit to Oklahoma, defensive lineman Djidjou Bah to Georgia Tech and running back Amari Latimer to Ohio State.
