NOKINGS.org is producing a sequel to its national day of rallies, protests, and marches to dissent against what the organization considers the unconstitutional actions of the Trump administration. This includes demonstrations at several locations within the Mohawk Valley.
On Saturday, October 18, NOKINGS.org hopes to eclipse the estimated over 5 million people who attended events on June 14.
In a statement, Organizers of the NO KINGS event in Hamilton, NY, Madison County Volunteers and Hamilton Gets Organizes. Village Green, Hamilton welcome all peaceful protesters, “including LGBTQ+, people of color, senior citizens, women, diƯerently-abled and ALL marginalized members of the community which continue to be targeted and harmed by President Trump’s authoritarianism.”
The Hamilton organizers expressed excitement to join other groups organizing NO KINGS events across the U.S., “including ACLU, American Federation of Teachers, Common Defense, 50501, Human Rights Campaign, Indivisible, League of Conservation Voters, MoveOn, National Nurses United, Public Citizen, SEIU, among others.”

On the landing page of the No Kings national website, the organization expresses that “a core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.”
