Colts vs. Rams: Cam Bynum adds fuel to matchup with latest comments

Needless to say, Indianapolis Colts’ safety Cam Bynum isn’t a fan of playing in Los Angeles against the Rams.

During an appearance on the ‘Downs 2 Business’ podcast, Bynum said that the Rams have a good fan base, but they don’t have “true fans” because they moved around so much.

And then Bynum accused the team of pumping in fake crowd noise.

He’s also not a fan of the field surface, either.

“I don’t like the stadium,” Bynum said, via Rams Wire. “I didn’t like their turf. It’s the short turf because they have to scrub it down every week to change from the Chargers to the Rams logo. It’s slippery. It’s almost as bad as ours. And they play fake crowd noise because their crowd isn’t that turnt.

“The Rams, they have a good fanbase but they’ve moved around so much where it’s not like true fans. It’s more like a celebrity show in there. It’s like, all right, I know this is fake. Because on third downs, you see the crowd is sitting down, but somehow there’s noise coming from somewhere. So we’re just looking around last year, like, ‘Hold on, that noise is coming from the speakers because this crowd, nobody’s turnt up right now.’”

Bynum’s final snaps as a member of the Vikings came against the Rams, after LA eliminated Minnesota from the playoffs in last season’s wildcard round.

Since joining the Colts, Bynum has made an instant impact both on and off the field. He’s established himself as one of the team’s leaders and always brings his own juice.

On Sundays, he’s allowed just one reception for 11 yards through three games and has two interceptions.

The Rams should provide the Colts with their toughest test of the season up to this point, and perhaps there is now some extra fuel added to this contest following Bynum’s comments.
