With the 2025 college football season now almost a quarter of the way done, the depth chart for Florida State is also starting to become clearer. Saturday’s thrashing of the Kent State Golden Flashes provides players the opportunity to rise up the depth chart.
Thomas Castellanos remains the starting quarterback after being an integral part of why the Seminoles won their first three games of the season. His Week 4 performance, completing 8 passes for 237 yards and two rushing touchdowns, earned the backups some valuable time on the field. A final score of 66-10 ensured everyone ate.
Some notable news with this week’s depth chart is that Randy Pittman Jr. is once again listed as the starting tight end after missing the last two games. Defensive lineman Kevin Wynn and linebacker Caleb LaValee are both making their first appearance after battling injuries.
