The Vero Beach Sunset Rotary Club brings together community-minded individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact both locally and globally. The club is part of Rotary District 6930 and joins a worldwide network of over 1.4 million Rotarians dedicated to promoting peace, fighting disease, supporting education, protecting the environment, and more.

“We are thrilled to receive our official charter from Rotary International,” said Rick Gromis, president of the Vero Beach Sunset Rotary Club. “This recognition is a testament to our members’ dedication to Rotary’s core values of service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership. We’re excited to build on this momentum and expand our outreach in Indian River County.”

The District 6930 Governor, Marcia Gaedcke, was present at the July 23 meeting to present the Club Charter, also in attendance was Assistant Governor Marty Lewis and District membership chair, Elaine Jones.

The club meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at Mangrove Sands Bar and Grill, located at 100 Woodland Drive in Vero Beach, with a social hour beginning at 5 p.m. followed by the regular meeting at 5:45 p.m. Visitors and prospective members are always welcome.

A charter night celebration is being planned to formally recognize the club’s formation, honor its founding members, and celebrate the support of the broader Rotary community.
