Two teams coming off their rivalry week wins clash to see who will stay atop the standings in the race for the last Conference Indiana football title as Bloomington South (4-0, 2-0) heads to Terre Haute South (3-1, 2-0) for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
The Braves are coming off a 66-7 stomping of TH North. The Panthers have won eight in a row vs. TH South, but last year’s game was a doozy, 36-34 that included a weather delay and the Panthers’ defense getting torched for 243 yards passing and 183 rushing. That nightmare was erased with a 42-14 South win in the sectional.
Meanwhile, North (1-3, 0-2) will lick its wounds and look to rebound against Terre Haute North (0-4, 0-2)at home (7 p.m.), looking to get and offensive drive into the end zone for the first time since Week 2. The Braves average just 8.8 ppg.
Edgewood (4-0, 2-0) has a road trip to West Vigo (0-4, 0-1), which was blasted by Northview in its WIC opener, 84-0, looking to match a 5-0 start in 2019. And Eastern Greene (1-3), coming off its first win, is at home vs. Eastern (Pekin) (0-4), which has been beaten handily by two straight 4A opponents.
