Bengals' Amarius Mims pops up on injury report ahead of Week 2

The Cincinnati Bengals enter Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars a little more banged up on the injury report than the week prior.

Mims is the big name here, figuratively and literally. The sophomore who had smaller attendance numbers impact his draft stock missed some time as a rookie, then had some nagging issues this past summer.

As of now, there’s no concern on the Mims front, as this seems like routine load management. But it’s something to keep an eye on, considering the Bengals really only have Cody Ford as the swing backup right now and Andrew Coker and Javon Foster on the practice squad.
