Girls soccer: Scores, schedule for week of Sept. 8, 2025

The 2025 girls soccer season is underway and we’ll be posting the daily schedule and results throughout the fall. Check here for updates and highlights.

Saturday, Sept. 13

Scarsdale 2, White Plains 0

Oonagh Walsh and Gia Asen each had a goal and Amanda Gorrin made six saves for Scarsdale. White Plains’ Pilar Abdel-Aziz had four saves.

Albertus Magnus 3, Ridgewood (New Jersey) 0

Mary Kate DeBono scored twice and Alexis Diaz had a goal for Albertus Magnus. Katie Murphy and Danica Tsapatsaris each added an assist.

Arlington 1, Ketcham 0

Chase Harris scored off a pass from Quinn Kapfhammer in the 23rd minute for Arlington. Ireland Murphy made four saves in the win. Kelsey Bollen had 12 saves for Ketcham.

Sleepy Hollow 2, Ardsley 1

Corina Armster and Abigail Church each scored a goal and Sabrina Graham made five saves for Sleepy Hollow. Ardsley’s Alexis Fitzsimmons scored and Sofia Haber had six saves.

Mahopac 1, Lakeland 0

Gianna Dolan scored off a pass from Niamh Kelleher with five minutes left for Mahopac. Brianna Savino made five saves in the shutout. Lakeland’s Amelia Calisi had 12 saves.

Ossining 2, Mamaroneck 1

Paige Pena had a goal and an assist to lead Ossining. Joyce Quezada also scored and Taylor Agid had an assist, and Jordyn Lorenz made nine saves. Mamaroneck’s Charlotte Patnode scored off a pass from Sarah Sherman, and Natalie Nannizzi (three saves) and Charlotte Daur (one) combined in goal.

Tappan Zee 6, Nanuet 0

Eve Girardi had four goals and an assist and Ruby Maloney added two goals and two assists to lead Tappan Zee. Heidi Mazariego and Katelyn Meehan each had an assist.

Blind Brook 8, Rye Neck 2

Eliza Barnett had two goals and three assists to lead Blind Brook. Gabby Cavallo added a goal and two assists, Hadley Cohen scored twice, Kendall Kongsberg, Lily Cullagh and Reese Weinstein each had a goal, and Mackenzie Pigassou had an assist. Bella Montesano made six saves in the win. Rye Neck’s Nina Vienne and Brooklyn Milboer each scored, Bree Tunno had an assist, and Taylor Vroom had 11 saves.

Pleasantville 6, Irvington 0

Sam Schultz had two assists and scored two goals, including the 50th of her career. Pleasantville. Faith Brown added two goals and an assist, Natalie Viviano had a goal and an assist, Nehla Sauthoff scored her first varsity goal and Mary Kate Winn had an assist. Irvington goalkeeper Cori Castellano notched her 300th career save.

Pearl River 2, Clarkstown North 0

Abby Maye and Katie Duffy each scored and Sophia O’Reilly had two assists for Pearl River. Catie Donohue made three saves in the win.

John Jay-Cross River 7, Fox Lane 4

Maye Viders and Coco Inglis each scored twice for John Jay-Cross River. Audrey Oestreicher and Kate Kaplowitz each added a goal. Fox Lane’s Lauren Spolansky scored twice, and Amanda Mazzuca and Brynn Anthony each had a goal.

Bronxville 3, Hastings 0

Caitlin Paisley scored three goals to lead Bronxville. Sofia Terjanian added an assist, and Lily Delaney (two saves) and Lulu Heathwood (one) combined for the shutout. Hastings’ Rory McKinnon had 20 saves.

Rye 8, Scarsdale B 1

Alessia McKenon had a goal and three assists to lead Rye. Sam Yeh scored twice, including a goal two minutes into the game. Goalkeeper Tessa Labovitz, Caroline Tighe, Jessica Mehrara, Emma Stark and Lucy Carey each scored their first varsity goal. Mae Haesslein made three saves in the win.

Friday, Sept. 12

Hackley 2, Trinity 1

Gemma Lasky scored twice, including the winner in overtime to lead Hackley. Willow Dengler and Gabriella Petriello each had an assist and Annika Duggan made nine saves. Trinity’s Naomi Klein opened the scoring in the 28th minute.

Blind Brook 5, Hen Hud 2

Lola Gonzalez and Gabby Cavallo each had two goals and an assist to lead Blind Brook. Sena Tarnoff added a goal and an assist, Reese Weinstein had an assist, and Bella Montesano made 12 saves. Hen Hud freshman Kinsley Steinheiser scored her first varsity goal, Haley Morris had the other, and Bridget Couch assisted both. Ella Henderson made seven saves.

Thursday, Sept. 11

John Jay-East Fishkill 1, Arlington 1

Aubrey Cerone scored on a penalty kick to give John Jay a 1-0 lead and Arlington tied it on Quinn DeSombre’s goal off a cross from Caelyn Deserre. Arlington’s Ireland Murphy made four saves and Molly Driscoll had six saves for John Jay.

Mahopac 2, Yorktown 1

Fiona Kelleher scored twice and Niamh Kelleher and Gianna Dolan each added a goal for Mahopac. Brianna Savino had 14 saves in the win.

Ardsley 2, Westlake 1

Riley Osborne and Helene Dillon each scored a goal and Sofia Haber made four saves for Ardsley. Westlake’s Julianna Nigrelli had a goal and Miah Spahr had nine saves.

Roosevelt 3, Yonkers 2

Ashley Luna scored twice to lead Roosevelt (2-1). Camilla Flores scored her first varsity goal, Emely Gauman had an assist and Donnae Robinson Johnson made seven saves. Yonkers’ Nicole Danial and Connie Matias each had a goal.

Tappan Zee 2, Nyack 0

Eve Girardi scored two goals and Nina Vasquez had an assist to lead Tappan Zee.

Albertus Magnus 9, Hastings 0

Katie Murphy and Alexis Diaz scored each three goals and Amelia DeSantis had three assists to lead Albertus Magnus. Sophia Rohrbacher added two goals and Belli Di Muccio had another. Naz Cardo had two assists, and Natalie Arango, Danica Tsapatsaris and Murphy each had one. Hastings’ Rory McKinnon had 25 saves.

Bronxville 0, Dobbs Ferry 0

Dobbs Ferry’s Samira Phillips made one save and Bronxville’s Lily Delaney had a save.

Scarsdale 0, Mamaroneck 0

Amanda Gorrin had three saves for Scarsdale and Mamaroneck’s Natalie Nannizzi had two saves.

Brewster 1, Fox Lane 0

Daniella Apap scored off a pass from Grace Charbonneau in the first half for Brewster. Fox Lane’s Dylan New had three saves.

Clarkstown North 3, Nanuet 0

Maddie Ryan, Emma Mansfield and Amanda Bialek each scored for Clarkstown North. Julia Kravatz and Layla Dobelle each had an assist and goalkeeper Maddi Mulvaney notched her first varsity shutout.

Rye Neck 6, Leffell 1

Bree Tunno had two goals and two assists to lead Rye Neck. Kylie Mohr scored twice, Valentina Ferrante added a goal and Nina Vienne scored her first varsity goal. Ines Rizo-Patron had two assists, Brooklyn Milboer had one, and Taylor Vroom made eight saves.

Pearl River 2, Clarkstown South 1

Abby Maye scored the deciding second goal for Pearl River. Jenna Silver put the Pirates on the board, scoring off an assist from Catie Maye, and Catie Donohue made nine saves in the win.

Sleepy Hollow 3, Edgemont 1

Corina Armster scored twice and Siena Spataro had a goal for Sleepy Hollow Maeve York ,Sami Marvin and Sarah Gordon each had an assist, and Sabrina Graham made three saves in the win.

John Jay-Cross River 1, Blind Brook 0

Blind Brook’s Bella Montesano made eight saves in the loss.

North Salem 5, Haldane 0

Maddy Horel scored twice and Noemi Torres had two assists for North Salem. Emma Greenberg added a goal and an assist, Zoe Elias and Sienna Paldin each also scored, and Grace Schaeffer had three saves.

Croton 6, Putnam Valley 0

Vivian Obermeier had two goals and Kate Webber had two assists to lead Croton. Elle McManus added a goal and an assist, and Jordan Becker, Samantha Wagner and Liza Becker and each scored once. Ali Cox and Grace Gallagher each had an assist, and Olivia Finn made four saves in the shutout.

Briarcliff 5, Irvington 0

Sadie Levitz scored three goals for Briarcliff. Mar Rivera Font and Emma Bacaj each added a goal, Lilah Prosperino had her first varsity assist and Gemma Fante had another. Irvington’s Cori Castellano made 14 saves.

Erys Burton had an assist and scored the go-ahead second goal in the 48th minute for Hackley. Lucia Marucci tied it at 1 in the 39th minute, and Gabriella Petriello added a goal and an assist. Annika Duggan made 10 saves in the win. Kayla Parameswarn scored and Ella Schwalbe had 10 saves for Rye Country Day.

North Salem 2, Croton 0

Sienna Paldin scored twice, Emma Greenberg had an assist and Grace Schaeffer made 14 saves for North Salem. Croton’s Vivian Obermeier had seven saves.

Pleasantville 7, Hen Hud 1

Sam Schultz had three goals and an assist and Faith Brown had two goals and an assist to lead Pleasantville. Natalie Viviano scored twice, Mary Kate Winn and Nehla Sauthoff each had two assists, and Mia Walker had one. Willa King made two saves and Isabella Iovino had one.

Tuckahoe 9, Lincoln 1

Brianna Sette, Mirella Oliva and Brooke Matarazzo each scored twice for Tuckahoe. Sofia Roberto, Reagan Dowd and Isabella Carinci each added a goal, and Brianna Hartman made 17 saves. Lincoln’s Anastasia Gogliano had one save.

North Salem 2, Croton 0

Sienna Paldin scored twice and Grace Schaeffer made 14 saves for North Salem. Emma Greenburg added an assist. Vivian Obermeyer had seven saves.

Peekskill 4, Yonkers Montessori 1

Kimberly Alfaro scored twice and Dayana Sari had two assists to lead Peekskill. Valeria Otavaio added a goal and an assist, Ashlee Ordonez also scored and Victoria Jovel had five saves. YMA’s Kate Comar scored and Enya Barrett made eight saves.

Arlington 4, Suffern 1

Chase Harris had two goals and an assist to lead Arlington. Caelyn Deserre added a goal and an assist, Quinn Kapfhammer also scored, Olivia Bohrman had an assist. Suffern’s Michaela Fay had a goal.

Albertus Magnus 5, Dobbs Ferry 0

Alexis Diaz scored twice and had an assist for Albertus Magnus. Katie Murphy added a goal and an assist, Natalie Arango and Bella Di Muccio each also scored, and Natasha Ignatiou and Amelia DeSantis each had an assist.

Harrison 1, Ursuline 0

Ingrid Murphy scored off a pass from Anabel Zihenni and Alexa Lacatena made seven saves for Harrison.

Tappan Zee 4, Clarkstown South 0

Eve Girardi had two goals and an assist for Tappan Zee. Ruby Maloney and Riley Sardo each added a goal, and Ella Sabatini and the defense recorded their first shutout of the season.

Briarcliff 6, Leffell 1

Gemma Fante had two goals and an assist and Gabriella Auguste scored twice to led Briarcliff. Freshman Reilly Harkins had her first two varsity assists, Mar Rivera Font had a goal and an assist, and Ella Polese scored her first varsity goal. Leffell’s Hailey Fiorito had a goal, Dahlia Deener an assist and Liel Benelli made nine saves.

North Rockland 2, Mamaroneck 0

Sadie Essick scored twice and Keila Uzhca had an assist for North Rockland.

Somers 3, Fox Lane 1

Aurora Riley, Natalie D’Ippolito and Lily Mazzella each scored a goal for Somers. Angie Giron, Anabel Mazzella and Abby Carpenter each had an assist. Fox Lane’s Lauren Spolansky scored off a pass from Elizabeth Fortune and Dylan New made 17 saves.

Roosevelt 1, Lincoln 0

Nalani Griffin scored off a pass from Ashley Luna, helping deliver Roosevelt its first win since 2022.

Ossining 3, White Plains 2

Paige Pena scored the winner in the 79th minute for Ossining. Joyce Quezada had two assists and Sophia Torrieri had a goal and an assist, Taylor Agid added a goal and Jordyn Lorenz made 10 saves in the win. White Plains’ Lily Obligado and Isabella Beaton each had a goal and Pilar Abdel-Aziz made six saves.

Rye Neck 6, Valhalla 0

Bree Tunno had two goals and three assists to lead Rye Neck. Velentina Ferrante and Kylie Mohr each added a goal, and Ines Rizo-Patron and Pearl Healy each scored their first varsity goals. Taylor Vroom made six saves in the shutout

Cori Castellano made eight saves for Irvington. Hen Hud’s Charlotte Gaspar and Avery Motko each had two.

Fiona Kelleher and Kayleigh Dolan each scored a goal, Gianna Tucci and Maria Garofalo added assists, and Brianna Savino made three saves in the shutout.

Hastings 4, Tuckahoe 4

Kaya Israel scored three goals and Emmy Taylor had a goal and an assist for Hastings. Rory McKinnon made eight saves.

Edgemont 2, Westlake 0

Freshman Sadie Amaya Gonzalez scored her first varsity goal for Edgemont. Carla Ruiz added goal, assisted by Ema Preldakaj, and Ananya Venkata-Girish made six saves in the shutout.
