It was an outstanding Week 3 of high school football teams as six teams picked up victories Friday night. Fisher Catholic can make it seven on Saturday.
Liberty Union 56, Meigs 21: The Lions scored at will and improved to 2-1 after their nonconference victory over the visiting Marauders. No other information was available.
Fairfield Union 39, Fairland 6: The Falcons, playing their third game on the road, had to overcome a weather delay, but they were able to pick up their first win of the season. No other information was available.
Fairfield Christian Academy 41, East Clinton 13: The Knights cruised in their nonconference victory and improved to 2-1 on the season. No other information was available.
Millersport 33, Federal Hocking 0: The Lakers dominated from start to finish to pick up their first win of the season. No other information was available.
Jonathan Alder 14, Bloom-Carroll 10: The Bulldogs held a 10-7 lead in the fourth quarter, but they couldn’t hold it as the Pioneers (3-0) scored late to pull out the nonconference victory over visiting B-C (1-2).
