The high school football season is officially here as teams around the Lone Star State kicked off the 2025 campaign on Thursday.
At Dick Bivins Stadium, Tascosa avenged its 2024 season-opening loss to Palo Duro with a win against Eric Mims Sr. and the Dons. Canyon avenged its 2024 Week 1 loss by beating Perryton at Happy State Bank Stadium.
Hereford also picked up a win on the road in Lubbock despite a back-and-forth first half.
