Michigan State basketball has been named a finalist for a top 60 prospect in the 2026 class.
Jasiah Jervis of White Plains, N.Y. has included the Spartans in his top eight schools finalist list, according to Dushawn London of 247Sports. Jervis also included NC State, Pitt, Texas, Illinois, Oregon, Florida and Tennessee in his list of finalist schools.
Jervis is a high-end four star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 97.64 in 247Sports’ composite system. He ranks as the No. 7 shooting guard and No. 60 overall prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class.
Jervis holds offers from nearly 20 schools, including from the Spartans who offered him in late June. He has picked up offers from Michigan, Texas, Tennessee and Florida since the Spartans handed him an offer.
Michigan State is set to host Jervis for an official visit on the weekend of September 5. This will be a massive recruiting weekend for the Spartans as it aligns with the annual “Grind Week” event. Jervis reportedly also has official visits lined up with each of his other finalists.
