We all know what time of the year it is…. preseason watch list season. As the college football season approaches, several publications and organizations are naming the players they believe will make an impact in 2025.
On Thursday, the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame announced their Watch List for the 2025 Polynesian College Player of the Year Award. Texas A&M football offensive lineman Mark Nabou Jr. was one of the initial players listed. The redshirt sophomore started the 2024 season as the starting center but suffered a season-ending injury before he was even able to get his footing.
After a long road back to health and a strong offseason, he is ready to compete for a starting spot along a line that might go down as one of the best in the program’s history. One of the observations from the practice has been the movement across the line as they look to put the best five on the field and Nabou will have an opportunity to carve out a role.
Presented annually, the award honors the most outstanding college football player of Polynesian ancestry who exemplifies exceptional ability and integrity both on and off the field. This year’s list features 81 players from 40 different NCAA Division I programs.
