There has been a focus on women in sports for many years, and we’ve seen an increase in visibility among female athletes, an uptick in female reporters, an increase in women being hired within sports organizations, and even more female fans coming forward with their love of sports.
The New York Giants have long been supporters of women in sports, and they announced on Thursday that on September 28, ahead of their Week 4 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers, they will hold the first-ever Ultimate Women’s Tailgate, hosted by team reporter Madelyn Burke.

The ticketed Women’s Tailgate will take place in Lot G, located outside MetLife Stadium, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with select Giants Legends, along with Giants team reporter and tailgate host, Madelyn Burke who will be joined by athletes in the sports and fitness industry, including Selena Samuela, Peloton instructor, and members from Gotham FC, the championship-winning professional women’s soccer club.
The space will also feature a curated custom merchandise shop, an exclusive Kendra Scott activation, tailgate games, giveaways, photo opportunities, live DJ entertainment, and more. The merchandise shop will debut a newly released Giants collection by Terez, with the opportunity to personalize your swag after purchase.
This is going to be an amazing event for female fans of the New York Giants. They’ll get a chance to mingle with other female fans, meet various legends, see some female sports athletes, take photos, purchase new merch, and be in a safe environment while supporting the team they love.
