On July 11, Reservations announced it will soon “cease to exist as a dine-in restaurant.”
Chef Jeremy Washum opened the establishment at 718 W. Glen Ave. in Peoria earlier this year.
While the restaurant received tremendous support, “love, passion and appreciation” from the community, the Facebook announcement said staffing struggles created challenges in serving “the volume of supporters necessary to grow and maintain Reservations as a dine-in restaurant.”
The restaurant will serve both staple and special dishes through this weekend, the post said.
Moving forward, the announcement said Washum will “pivot” to focus on catering private and public events, as he had done prior to opening the storefront.
